SecureNinjaTV Viewed as Recognized Leader in Up-front and In-depth Reporting for Cybersecurity

Aug. 11, 2013

SecureNinja, https://secureninja.com/ , the leading Cyber Security training and services company in Washington, DC and San Diego, CA; media division SecureNinjaTV, was on hand at this year’s Blackhat USA and DEF CON 21 trade shows in Las Vegas, Nevada. SecureNinjaTV’s crew recorded and broadcast first-hand the latest developments released by top cybersecurity companies and subject matter experts.

SecureNinjaTV's reporting team expanded this year with the addition of SecureNinja’s (CHO) Chief Hacking Officer Michael Vien to co-host interviews along with seasoned anchorwoman Alicia Webb. The new team worked well together especially by tapping into Mr. Vien’s deep technical background to ask detailed probing questions from thought leaders and C-level industry executives. A prime example of this detailed coverage can be shown in an interview with Mandiant CSO Richard Bejtlich about the APT Report about Chinese hackers released back in February. Also discussed is Bejtlich's new book The Practice of Network Security Monitoring. To view this episode click here: SecureNinjaTV interview with Mandiant CSO Richard Bejtlich

At Blackhat USA, SecureNinjaTV broadcast from a professional studio environment in Caesars Palace located right above the exposition floor adding to the convenience for show guests requiring only a brief elevator ride straight to their scheduled interview. In addition the studio featured a Green Room for waiting guest to prepare and mingle with other interviewees.

“We are extremely honored to have been invited to film at this year’s Blackhat and DEF CON 21,” said Jon Miller, Director of New Media, SecureNinja. “Our investments in cutting edge technology has allowed us to release multiple episodes directly from the show floor giving us a clear edge in getting real-time information out to the Cybersecurity community.”

In addition to studio interviews SecureNinjaTV roamed the show floors and covered world famous Blackhat parties.
